Corner of the earth.

(blazer - jager via charity shop/shirt - charity shop/leggings - cow/shoes - ebay/necklace - topshop/ring - topshop/watch - amazon/bracelets topshop,charity shop/bag - american apparel/hat - primark)

I'm currently writing this from under many layers of clothing as it's so unbearably cold at the moment and I can't cope anymore, bring on summer! It's just an outfit from the other day, my week has been filled with working, sleeping and going out.

I lost my blackberry on Thursday, I was so lost without a phone for two whole days (I could still feel it vibrating in my pocket) - serious withdrawal symptoms. I now have an iphone, and I do love it but I do miss my little blackberry - it was like a friend! Today i'm doing nothing and its brilliant, I am so looking forward to having a night off and not having to venture out in the cold tonight to get to work. Its so good having a night of doing nothing but I feel a little lost when i'm sat at home in the evening!

Also, i'm so sad that Whitney Houston has died, she's up their in my top 5 artists and I've loved her since I was little because I was brought up with my mum playing her non-stop. She had an incredible voice and its sad she died so young. (It makes me sick how many people are saying she deserved to die or complaining about the attention its getting.)

Lovely lovely new things!

Hello, my name is Abby and I can't stop spending money. I'm supposed to be saving for various things but I have a serious problem and along with taxis home from work and nights out, clothes + jewellery are helping to empty my bank just days after I've recied my wages!

The jewellery and hat are from the Topshop final sale which was awesome - I got £89.50 worth of Topshop stuff for £14.50! The owl top was £1.99 from a charity shop and I thought it would be good for summer with high waisted shorts, and the jaeger blazer was also from a charity shop and was only £2.99! Michael Jackson is my favourite person ever so I couldn't resist this mens primark tshirt which was reduced to £3, I think I might get at it with the scissors and crop it or cut the sleeves off (hopefully I won't ruin it).

Just like everyone else I've been lusting after some JC Litas forever but at the moment I am constantly skint (because I waste all of my money) so I ordered these on ebay, they were £15 and with £5 postage I'm extremely happy with my beautiful new pair of shoes for twenty quid! They're really comfy as well, I even wore them in the day time last week! (sorry about how dirty they are in the photo, I wore them on a night out last week and they're a bit sticky - and scuffed which i'm not happy about)

I think my favourite recent new item is this though, I won Katies (what-now.net) giveaway for this American Apparel clutch and picked the Charcoal colour, and recieved it in the post yesterday. I love it! The colour is sooo nice and I love the green zip, I can't wait to wear it out and i'm certain i'll be using it a lot - its got me considering other colours too - I'd just like to say thank you so much Katie because I really love it!

Green skirt.

(jumper - h&m/shirt - second hand/skirt - topshop via ebay/belt - primark/coat - primark/scarf - gift/rings -ebay,h&m,topshop/necklace - topshop/bag - h&m/earrings - ebay/boots - dr martens)

This is what I wore today, I went to town to find an outfit to wear to work tonight (its Baywatch themed) which was a bit of a failure as I could not find a pair of red shorts ANYWHERE! I'm just going to have to make do with some denim shorts. I ended up spending money I shouldn't have spent (as per usual) in the Topshop sale - who can resist £1.50 jewellery eh?!

What do you think of my dyed hair? I was going for light brown but it went slightly ginger, and the ends are slightly lightened, i'm unsure of it but it's better than it was before!

Pink lips & stripes.

(jumper - h&m/shirt - charity shop/spandex leggings - cow/boots - dr marten/necklace - ebay
/pink rings - ebay/other ring - primark/watch - casio/lipstick - barry m)

Another outfit post with crappy pictures due to my rushing around and bad face day and bad lighting etc etc... But here it is, enjoy! I wore it today (with the fur coat from my haul below) on a quick trip in to town to get some hair dye (going lighter baby!) and I was walking around like a zombie 'cause I haven't been to sleep since yesterday day time (ugh! my job has ruined my sleeping pattern) I thought a pop of pink lipstick might make me seem more awake but unfortunately, I still looked like the living dead - though that was probably due to the lack of foundation which I just could not be bothered to put on. Wish me lick with the hair dye! (I'll need it)

Spots, stripes & spikes.

(blazer - h&m - charity shop/polkadot top - charity shop/pleather leggings - primark/dr martens - amazon/earrings - ebay/necklace - topshop/rings - topshop + accessorize + h&m/casio watch - amazon/lipstick - kate moss@rimmel)

An outfit I wore when I popped into town to pick up a few things. I love this blazer so much and I feel very Beetlejuice when I wear it, which a good thing in my books! I'm gunna go ahead and say that its one of my best ever charity shop finds. D'ya like my new shoes? I've been lusting after the shoe Dr Martens for a while, but was unsure of the colour I wanted and didn't want to spend money because I am a tight arse but then I saw these on Amzon and gave in! You can't tell from the picture but they're navy blue not black (and they were around sixty pound) My lipstick is from the Kate Moss range at Rimmel, I have another lipstick from that range and I love them both, and I'm definitely gunna get my hands, or should I say my lips? on the others!

The last couple of days i've been tucked up in bed with hundreds of cups of tea, I've had a cold for the past three weeks and it just won't go away - I plan on staying in my bed watching likes of Gilmore Girls and Scrubs, and perhaps a little bit of Coronation Street until tomorrow night when I have work (boo).

Bit of a haul.

I apologise for the photo heavy post, and the quality of pictures but the camera battery was running down so I was being super speedy. Here are some things that I have bought both before and after christmas, some in the sales and some not. This isn't even half of the stuff i've purchased but this is what I could find to snap some quick photos of because I thought that maybe someone else would like to see what I spend my hard earned wages (and some christmas money) on instead of saving it like I should! (someone stop me!!!) SO, the jewellery - most of it is from Topshop apart from the purple feather earrings which are from Primark and the bangles which are from H&M. I'm going a bit mad on jewellery at the moment, even more than usual and i'm super happy with all of my recent finds, especially the Topshop eye ring which I'd been wanting for ages but couldn't find it. I also got some cool necklaces which I forgot to take photos of because I am an idiot!

The silver collar is from River Island, it was £5 in the sale and I thought it would be really cute to wear with jumpers and stuff and not bad for a fiver! Now to the shoes, THE SHOES, aren't they beautiful? I got them with christmas money that my uncle gave me, and they were £50 I think, or something around that. They're from ASOS and i'm yet to wear them but I know that when I do I will look fabulous - well my feet will anyway! Now to the jackets, the orange one is a blazer/jacket and I don't know what made me decide to pick up a bright orange blazer, maybe I was feeling wild -but i'm glad I did because I love it and it was only £10 in the H&M sale. The fur coat was £30 from River Island reduced from £80 (I think) and its actually a size 16, but because its supposed to be cropped it fits me like a normal sized jacket and its sooooo snuggly!

If anyone has actually read through all of that rambling then I salute you, because I don't even think I can bare to read back through it myself (I promise I don't talk this much rubbish all the time, though I suppose i'll let you be the judge of that!), but anyway I have posted some of my recent purchases which was my aim and I can now tick it off my mental 'to do' list! I would also like to say thankyou (and hello) to all the people that have followed me in the last day or two so yeah, thankyou!

2012 & a fresh start.

Being the neat freak that I am I deleted all of my previous blog posts (there was only about five anyway) and i'm ready to start from scratch, and hopefully without two month gaps in between posts this time. So it's 2012! I turn TWENTY this year, such a scary thought. I plan on spending this year with the right mix of being as childish as possible while ending my teenage years and acting like the nice, mature, sensible twenty year old I am soon to be (ha). I don't really have any exciting new years resolutions other than the usual eat healthier save money - I would also like to move out this year but I don't think I will ever be able to afford to live on my own unless I begin leading a life of crime, which I am far too lazy for.

I hope anyone that reads this had a great start to 2012, and heres to me making regular blog posts! For now, back to Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and my cuppa.
